SQUIRM show of 1.23.10 RECAP

SQUIRM's most recent show was Saturday, 1/23, 2010 @ The Creek in Long Island City.We did a 30 minute set, and had guest performer Christopher Boerger.
The improvised blues song was the "The Northern Canada ~ Jennifer Aniston ~ Tiramisu Blues" and featured scenes of A giant pot of pasta that took two people to stir as we prepared for a party of 300 people, and a gigantic colander ~ Jose the Janitor putting in too much overtime when sweeping the floor ~ a trip to Mexico City and skipping in Rome ~ Mr. Smith the ‘child molester’ teacher who claims he ‘invented math’, used the word ‘primitive’, and kept staring out the door at Mrs. Smith in the the classroom across the hall ~ and some very interesting job interviews for AMC movie theatres which involved reverse nepotism (the manager kept firing his son) and revealed the level of dedication an AMC employee must have: to wear the red vest, get an AMC tattoo on their shoulder and be willing to not speak with their family for two weeks….one candidate claimed to have several degrees including chemistry and an MBA, yet was asked “Yes, but can you butter popcorn?"
What will happen next? Check out the next SQUIRM show at THE CREEK - Long Island City on Saturday, February 27th @ 7pm - Free! http://www.creeklic.com/
